Many folks are getting away from giving out candy to the Treaters.  The creeps at the Big Scare have divided opinions with regard to this.  After all, there is such a thing as a candy overload.  Plus, some people just don’t give out “good” candy.  However, if you are going to refrain from handing out candy, you’d better come up with something equally as awesome.  Below are some of the treats we have been able to locate that aren’t chocolate-covered, but would still be very welcome in our treat pails on Halloween night.

From Halloween Goldfish to seasonal Gushers to Halloween-shaped Pretzels to the Nabisco Classic Mix – Spooky Edition, there are plenty of non-candy options out there that aren’t boring or tasteless.  Plus, how can you beat this amazing packaging!  These are worth buying for the boxes alone!

Let us know what you’re dishing out at the door this year!

Halloween Treats: Mickey Mouse and Friends Mini Cheese Balls Halloween Snacks

0

Since its divorce with McDonald’s, Disney has jumped headfirst into the snack market.  With everything from fruit snacks to juice drinks, Disney characters now line the shelves of grocery stores nationwide.  Now the Disney company has embarked on a new journey… into the world of cheese balls!  And who better than to put on the package than the Big Cheese himself – Mickey Mouse!

Yes, Utz brand cheese-puff snacks now have Disney characters on them, but the reason this new product is making headlines on this blog is because these Disney characters are dressed for Halloween.  The individual treat bags feature Count Mickula, Goofenstein, Devil Duck and more!

We enjoy being able to see Disney characters get their monster on, so we just had to share the development here.  We found these snacks at Target.  What other Halloween snacks have you seen and where have you found them?
