Telco Halloween Motion-ettes Price Guide

All Fair Market Value ranges are based upon the final selling
prices of Motion-ette figures on the secondary market for a
ten-year time period (2003 - 2013). Prices reflect average
ranges for figures sold, online and offline, in excellent
condition with original boxes.

No official guide has ever been created for Fair Market
Values. So, during the ten years we researched the Halloween
Motion-ettes, we kept a log of final selling prices for
various figures in the Telco line.  We created a range using
our recorded statistics.  These prices are based on our
collected data and should only be used as one resource when
determining a fair price for a particular animated figure.

Please note that the following list is not a complete price guide.
Certain figures and variations are not included. It is intended for
information purposes only. For more information on the Telco
Motion-ettes, please visit our Collector's Guide and FAQ.

    • Free is good. If it is, in fact, a Telco, the accessory should simply slip over the top of the raised plastic base on the hand. You mention, however, that she is holding a pumpkin. If the accessory is original, this may indicate that it’s not actually a Telco, as the vast majority of 18″ witches came with skulls. Of course, the original skull could have been replaced. Either way, it’s an excellent price. And a little hot glue never hurt anything.

    • The averages are based on ten years’ worth of data from 2003 to 2013. Price-points dropped after 2008, then had an unusual spike two-to-three years back and are now coming back down from that spike.

      • that’s not good because I have 2 of the universal studios collection left, the green Frankenstein and creature from the blacklagoon still in the box. thank you 🙂

  3. hi i was wondering if you knew anyone in southern California who does repairs on these guys.I have a few rare ones in the box but not all of them work right ,any help you can give i would appreciate thanks again

    • Rocky,

Thank you for the question. We do not know of any repairers. We do know, however, that repairs on Motion-ettes are usually done by individual collectors and hobbyists. If you can find other enthusiasts in your area, perhaps they can send you in the right direction. Good luck with your search!

  4. The market on these things were crazy in the 1990’s through the early 2000’s, but since has dropped off – no doubt collectors who really wanted them paided up the big money and now the middle collectors aren’t willing to mortgage their homes for them.. But that’s good for the collectors who mainly purchasing them for enjoyment and not resell value.
I think your price guide is right on the money will the figures today, I have monitored various sales and these numbers are about right on.. Some sellers have a false appreciation of the value of their figures because they are living with the rare price gouging which occurred years ago, I glade to see the market lower now so others can enjoy these figures of the past .,. These were beautifully done and stil hold up after time..

      • The ranges given here are still probably accurate. I have not kept up on final selling prices in the past few years. They could be more, could be less. Many factors are involved, including condition of figure and box, etc. Best of luck!

      • It depends on which werewolf and which bride , batteries? plug in? If it’s the plug in werewolf what color outfit is he wearing , I know someone who will pay good money for a certain werewolf

  5. I have the battery operated werewolf with glowing eyes from the universal monster line, and the battery operated Frankenstein bride from the universal line, I don’t have any plug in ones, sorry

  6. hi i have a question about the 18in frankenstein i bought 1 back when it came out with the skull on the hand many years later had financial problems and had to sell it and now wanting to get it back but have had a hard time finding that version i finally found 1 pop up on ebay but she wants $100 for it my question is that a high price i think it is

      • Hey i need to thank you for putting these prices together.as i questioned previously about the 18in frankenstein with the skull and the lady asking $100 fit it. Well i messaged her and told her about the price guide i told her that the value of the animator was and told her i would give her $35 plus shipping and she excepted me offer.so again thank you this page has been extremely helpful for me

  7. I scored a gorilla for $11.25 on Halloween. An antique store down the street had him in the window and I fell in love with the face. I had no idea how collectible these were until I looked up more information.

  8. I have a 24″ 1989 GREEN Frankenstein Monster. It looks exactly like the black one you have pictured, but most definitely green. I’ve had it (in the box) ever since it was purchased from Kmart, so I know it’s authentic. However, I can’t find any info or other examples of a GREEN 1989 Frankenstein monster. Is there any additional value added for the different color?
    Thank you!
